Academy Cohorts

Each year the Washington Executive Leadership Academy (WELA) that begins in June forms a professional cohort that stays together through the year. Because the decision to enter the program is a significant career step, we have chosen to label our "classes" with the year they begin their work.

"My year with WELA provided time, space, and opportunity to engage in soulful reflection about the administrative career path. One had the privilege to engage in meaningful and enriching dialogue with a diverse group of peers from across the state, and to learn about the operation of a college, the State Board, and the legislative process directly from experts in the field. The professional and personal learning was an engaging and challenging process that has now created the potential to serve students and community and technical college colleagues in an even greater capacity."
