Kayeri holds the position of Online Student Services Manager for the State Board
for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC).
Her background includes teaching experience, along with student services direct services and administrative positions at Waubonsee Community College, Lower Columbia College, Brigham Young University, and Oregon State
University. Kayeri holds a MEd in Education Administration, a BA in Art
(Drawing and Graphics), and an AA in Humanities. She is ABD (all-but-
dissertation) in Instruction Technology. Kayeri will explore the position VP of Student Services within the SBCTC system.
Anne's current position is Director of Communications and Marketing at
Bellingham Technical College. She brings a valuable combination of public
and private sector experience to her work including management and
leadership roles in marketing, economic development, operations and contract management (manufacturing), and international business. She holds a BA in Business Administration, and is interested in broadening her leadership capacity and role, expanding her knowledge of system level processes and issues, and in clarifying her career options in higher education.
Sunny is the Vice President for Learning and Student Success at Cascadia Community College. Her experience includes VP of Instruction at Bates Technical College and Lake Washington Institute of Technology, and VP and Associate Dean positions in Student Services and over ten years as a faculty member/counselor at Spokane Community College. She is also active at the community and technical college state level, where she chaired the statewide Common Course Numbering Implementation Committee, reporting to the Educational Services Committee of WACTC. Sunny holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, a MS in Community College Education and a BS in Parks and Recreation Administration.
Charlie Crawford is the Executive Vice President of Instruction at Edmonds Community College. Prior to his appointment at Edmonds CC,
Charlie served 11 years in various dean roles at Tacoma Community College (TCC).
Charlie's community college background includes serving as a dean in four different areas: academic services; business and workforce education; business,
learning resources, and English for academic purposes; and learning resources and English as a Second Language (ESL). He also taught at TCC, Lesley University,
and City University as an adjunct faculty for more than eight years.
Charlie received his Doctor of Philosophy in Education from the Community College Leadership Program at Oregon State University. He also earned his Master's in
Librarianship and a Bachelor's in English from the University of Washington.
Sandra currently serves as the president of Portland Community College's Rock Creek Campus. Sandra has served at Everett Community College as Executive Vice President for Instruction and Student Services from 2007 to 2014. Her prior experience includes positions as a division dean and tenured faculty member at Olympic College, where she also coordinated the Office of Women's Programs. Sandra holds an Ed.D. in Community College Leadership, a MA in Human Development Counseling, and a BS in Applied Behavioral Science.
Curt has served in a progression of instructional roles at Columbia Basin College, including instructor, Director of Tech Prep, division dean, and currently Vice President for Instruction. He also has had experience as a counselor and case manager in a psychiatric care center. Curt holds a MEd in Counseling and Guidance and a BS in Psychology. Curt has conducted doctoral studies in higher education administration.
Geary holds the position of Dean of Instructional Programs at Lower Columbia College. His background includes teaching experience along with instructional
administrative positions at Clark College and Antioch University, and as head of the Nuclear Training Branch at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Geary holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, a MS in Human Resource Management and a BA in Business Administration. His goal to is to be a VP of Instruction.
Gina was Director of Human Resources at Edmonds Community
College when she entered WELA. She has more than 20 years of experience in public sector human resource
management positions, gathered at the City of Monroe and EdCC. She holds
a MA in Organizational Psychology and a BS in Business Administration,
along with an AAS transfer degree. Gina's WELA goal was to obtain a Chief Human Resources Officer position.
Gina has been the Chief HR Officer at Cascadia Community College since 2008. She additionally served on the WELA Board of Directors from 2007-2012.
Larry's current position is Director of Facilities and Grounds at Everett
Community College. His broad background includes work in several areas
of administrative services and positions with public schools, city government and the military. Larry has a MBA and a BS in Forest Resource Management, and is currently enrolled in a Masters in Education program with emphasis on
Continuing and College Education. Larry is interested in moving first to a
VP of Administrative Services position, and then into a presidency.
Adrienne currently serves as the Dean of Student Services at the Institute for Extended Learning at the Community Colleges of Spokane. Her background includes work in Continuing Education, Workfirst, Adult Basic Education and
Student Services. She brings experience from Centralia College and Wenatchee Valley College. Adrienne holds a Master's in Education and BA in
Public Management, along with and Associate of Technical Arts in Information
Processing Management. She is interested in a VP of Student Services position.
Erik has served as Executive Director of the Center of Excellence for Careers in Education, housed at Green River Community College, since 2009.
His prior experience includes work in
student housing, gathered at Central Washington University and the Art Institute of Seattle. He also
has private sector experience in banking and the tour industry. Erik holds an Ed.D. in Educational
Leadership & Policy Studies, a ME in Student Personnel Administration and a BS in
Business Administration/Human Resource Management.
Jan is Dean of the Health and Human Services division at Seattle Central
Community College. She brings experience from two California Colleges
(in disabled student services and as a vocational specialist), as well as work at the high school and middle school levels as an instructor and administrator.
Jan holds a MEd in Special Education and a BS in Psychology. She wants
to move into a VP position in either Instruction or Student Services.
